Please feel free to travel to Lake Como at your leisure. The main event is on Sunday 26th May 2024, and we are looking into holding a few activities either side of that day. However, there is no obligation to come to these.
We recommend to start looking into hotels/flights as soon as you can as prices can increase very quickly.
We strongly recommend staying in or around Bellagio. We will arrange transport to and from here for our guests on the wedding day. Please refer to the ACCOMMODATION document for more details on places you could stay.
From Bellagio, you can catch the ferry either via foot or in your hire car and explore the other beautiful towns in Lake Como such as Varenna, Menaggio and Como. The ferries run regularly but do stop after a certain time which would make getting back to your hotel difficult if you were not in or around Bellagio.
Absolutely! We know how much joy and love kids bring and want our wedding to be (and feel!) family friendly. We have booked child entertainers/ a nanny (for under 3's) at the villa during the reception, but we will keep anyone bringing kids updated as we finalise plans. There will be lots of games and activities for the children to do too on the day.
Please let us know if you are planning on bringing your children, so we can plan accordingly.
We really hope you can make it! The sooner you can RSVP the better but the latest we would need to know is 26th January 2024 using the RSVP tab on this website. Please ensure that each guest, including children, RSVP's separately to so that we capture the numbers correctly.
As with the weather anywhere, we can’t predict what it will be like at the end of May 2024. However, in previous years the month of May in general has had highs of 20 degrees and lows of 12 degrees. This year (2023), it has been rather rainy so please be mindful of that!
The evenings might cool off, therefore we recommend bringing something warm to have on hand.
The reception will end between 1-1.30am. We have arranged transportation for our guests back to Bellagio at that time.

Italian food of course! We will be food tasting this year so will update you on what delicious food you can expect to eat as soon as possible.
Please turn off phones and cameras during the wedding ceremony as our photographers and videographer will capture the moment. After the ceremony and for the activities either side of the day, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels if you wish. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ComoAwayWithTheDaltons so we can enjoy all of your pictures!
